One of the vendors was said to have been assaulted and could seen bleeding profusely. Another had to seek refuge at the Newsday newspaper offices.

Newspaper vendors in Harare city centre have been forced to flee for safety following an attack by Zanu PF terror gangs instructing them to attend the Zanu PFs anti- restrictive measures campaign.
