Mukwezvaramba – CAPS’ new find

moses_chungaHARARE - CAPS United coach Moses Chunga (pictured) believes Norest Mukwezvaramba is one of the brightest talents at Makepekepe who could play a key role in their bid to land the premiership crown this season.

The 21-year-old Mukwezvaramba was at relegated Lengthens last term where he played as a bit part player under coach Joesten Mathuthu.

Mukwezaramba is a product of the Black Aces Youth Academy which also groomed Kaizer Chiefs sensation Knowledge Musona who has held South Africa spell bound with his silky skills.

Chunga, regarded by many as the one of the best midfielders to emerge from this country in the 80’s, said Mukwezaramba is destined for greater heights if he keeps a cool head.

“He is a very talented young man. He is a good passer of the ball and a hard worker. He is a key member of this term although he does not start in some of the games. He still has age on his side,” said Chunga.

Mukwezvaramba was instrumental in CAPS United’s 4-0 demolition of Shabanie Mine in a PSL league game which earned Makepekepe a goal tally of 14 with Under-23 striker, Simba Sithole, veteran Evans Gwekwerere and Steven Alimenda all inking their names on the score sheet.

But it was Mukwezvaramba who stole the show in that game as he put up a five-star performance in the middle of the park, scoring before squaring for Sithole to score his fifth goal for United.
