Speaker ballot gets forensic audit

electionHARARE - Zanu (PF) has taken ballot papers used in the recent elections for the Speaker of Parliament for forensic tests, to establish identities of Parliamentarians who voted for MDC-T candidate, Lovemore Moyo, a highly placed source in the
Presidents Office has revealed.

The scientific tests which started last week have reportedly indicated that four Zanu (PF) Legislators voted Lovemore Moyo at the expense of Zanu (PF) candidate Khaya Moyo. However, it is strongly believed that no less than 10 Zanu (PF) Members of Parliament cast votes in favour of MDC-T candidate. As opposed to suspicions that all legislators from MDC-N voted in favour of MDC-Ts Moyo, the forensic tests suggested that some legislators from the Welshman Ncube led faction actually cast their ballot in favour of Zanu (PF) Khaya Moyo, said the CIO source.

The source said the forensic tests would be used by Zanu (PF) to expose dissidents among its ranks and those from rival parties who voted MDC-T, despite having accepted bribes to back Khaya Moyo of Mugabes former ruling party.

Zanu (PF) will descend heavily on traitors who betrayed its Speaker of Parliament cause, added the source.
