Computers, trees for schools

He said computer skills were a vital tool in today's world, and the donation was in line with the EUs commitment and support to the Education sector, which amounted to $10,5 million under the first phase of the Education Transition Fund that saw 2, 5 million textbooks being purchased for primary school children.

The Education Transition Fund is a multi-donor funded programme that aims to improve access to school and learning

materials in order to achieve universal primary school education in Zimbabwe.

I deliberately decided to plant trees today; not only to keep a promise I made to Minister Francis Nhema last year, but also to remind all of us here about the importance of trees, which have numerous uses, said the Ambassador.
