The case is further remanded to the 11^th of May.

Five Great Zimbabwe University students are facing charges of malicious damage to property and assault following a demonstration on high fees.

Arnold Batirai, Gamuchirai Mukura, Zivanai Muzorodzi, Godfrey Kurauone and Brighton Ramusi.

They are further remanded to the 4^th of May.

Bulawayo Magistrate court.

Four National University of Science and Technology (NUST) students are facing charges of participating in an illegal gathering with intentions of causing public violence.

David Mushawani, Beven Nyamande, Ernest Makoni and Duncan Mombeshora.

The case is further remanded to the 3^rd of May

The student activist is convicted of convening an illegal gathering.

He is sentenced to twelve days in custody or US$40 fine.

Harare High court

A member of ZINASU together with 5 other activists is facing charges of treason following participation in an International Socialist Organization organized discussion were they watched videos of uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.

The case has been placed for trial on the 18^th of July and according to the state prosecutor the matter is going to be before the regional magistrate court.
