The MDC-T district leadership visited the homestead to assess the damage caused. The local MP, Iain Kay, has sourced material aid for the family including clothing and food. I am also in the process of sourcing a wheelchair for Blessing Chigoya, a disabled teenage girl member of the family, said Kay.

Recently, Zanu (PF) Member of Parliament Marondera East, Tracy Mutinhiri, donated an assortment of goodies and clothing to the Chigoya family. The donation was made up of blankets, groceries among other items.
