Tambawakaguta boys confident

soccer_ballHarare - Blue Ribbon coach Misheck Chidzambwa is confident his team will bounce back to winning ways after losing their last two matches to Zimbabwe Saints and Motor Action which has the team plunging down to fifth position on the league table with 10 points from six games.

The Tambawakaguta Boys had charmed the local football family with their attacking brand of football which saw them beating CAPS United 2-0 in a crucial league match to take top spot.

But defeats to Zimbabwe Saints (1-0) and Motor Action (1-0) recently deflated the team’s camp as they aim to make a mark in the elite league after winning promotion under the managerial reigns of the same coach last year.

The veteran coach is confident his team will pick themselves up again and fight for honours with the big boys.

“We have not played well in our last two games. Sometimes it was down to silly mistakes and against Motor Action we were affected by the loss of Takesure Chiragwi who was sent off. It was another silly

offence by the player and now we have to pick ourselves up and start winning. We are not here to make up numbers but are there to fight for honors,” said Chidzambwa.
