
“We want to make sure that our nation lives and preserve its values. Through our self empowered projects we are working hard to see traditional issues restored as many people are now swallowed into western modern life, which is affecting our society every day,” she said.
With job opportunities very low in the country, Ngwenya believes her organization will play a big role in creating job opportunities for communities.
“People must learn to be self-depending; we are aiming at setting up different job opportunities in mining and farming sector through our initiatives. We also want to set up community centres where youths will be taught skills to sustain themselves,” she added.
However, Ngwenya also urged the government to help utilize people’s talent if they wanted to have prosperous communities.
“People are very creative and talented, but the government is not helping communities to make use of their talent and success. We need to engage one another,” she said.
Masiyephambili was established in early 2010 in Beula Seula in Matopo South.
