I will make the grade at Eng Premiership side Bolton Wanderers: Rusike

Jomo Cosmos Zimbabwean striker Mathew Rusike believes he has the quality to make the grade at English Premiership side Bolton Wanderers where he has been invited for trials.

The Zimbabwe Under-23 striker has been presented with a golden chance to break into the English Premiership following his invitation for trials by Bolton Wanderers.

Rusike has this week been running around to secure a visa to the United Kingdom. He was expected to travel to the UK after playing for the Young Warriors against South Africa in the first leg of the All-Africa Games qualifier yesterday (Saturday).

Rusike, speaking to The Zimbabwean before the team's departure to Johannesburg this week, expressed confidence that he will make the grade." It will be a dream come true for me to play in England," said Rusike." I think this is a golden chance for me and I have to impress during the trials. I am confident I will be able to convince the technical staff that I can play in the English Premiership,' said Rusike.

Rusike could follow in the footsteps of former Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari who joined Jomo Cosmos before joining the English Premiership. The Zimbabwean Under-23 striker has been touted as one of the brightest talents in the country at the moment.
