Mugabe rushed to Medical Chambers

President Mugabe was rushed to the Medical Chambers again on Wednesday, delaying a trip to the Equitorial Guinea where he was expected to attend the 17th Ordinary Session of the African Union.

Mugabe arrived at the Medical Chambers just after 11am on Wednesday, the second time he has visited the clinic in two days for what is being claimed to be an aching tooth. He was expected to fly out to the AU summit at 10am.

Mugabe is receiving specialist attention from dental surgeon Dr F.S. Moyana. He consulted the same doctor on Tuesday afternoon. He arrived at the clinic just after 2pm on Tuesday and consulted the doctor for an hour.

His spokesman George Charamba yesterday said the President was fine and invited this journalist to the airport at 10am. The President was not at the airport at 10am and an hour later, he was at the Medical Chambers. Mugabe is receiving specialist attention on the 1st Floor of the Medical Chambers.

It is not immediately clear if Mugabe is still travelling to the AU. Charamba said on Wednesday he was in a meeting when he was reached for further comment.
