
His first duty as captain will be to lead the team that plays Australia ‘A’ and South Africa ‘A’ in the triangular one day games this July.
Taylor has 11 One Day International half centuries to his name and a top ODI score of 145 not out against South Africa in 2010. He currently plays for the Kwekwe based franchise, Midwest Rhinos, a good all round player whose contribution during the World Cup series in March was invaluable.
