A Harare-based prayer group has been involved in helping to pay school fees for some orphaned girls. This week, a report was received about two girls, Judith and Kundai, who were orphaned at the tender age of five.

At its inception in 2000, they were brought to Kopano Home on separate occasions after the death of their grandmothers. After six years at the home they were taken up by Mrs Mawire on account of their excellent academic results and good behaviour.

She was tragically killed in an accident in April and the girls’ lives fell to pieces. Their chances of writing exams were in jeopardy and they wept constantly.

They thank God for throwing them a lifeline prayer group after the tragedy that took away their bread winner. They have come to realise that only divine intervention made it possible for them to register for the exams. Judith and Kundai have the potential to excel in life and with good guidance in the way of the Lord, they will surely serve Him with all their heart and lead many to Him.
