Zimbabwe National Team Training Squad Announced

The national selectors have announced the Zimbabwe XI squad for the one-day matches against the Australia and South Africa A sides.

1. Brendan Taylor (Captain);

2. Regis Chakabva;

3. Chatara, Tendai;

4. Elton Chigumbura;

5. Craig Ervine;

6. Hamilton Masakadza;

7. Keegan Meth;

8. Christopher Mpofu;

9. Forster Mutizwa;

10. Raymond Price;

11. Vusimuzi Sibanda;

12. Tatenda Taibu;

13. Prosper Utseya;

14. Brian Vitori; and

15. Malcolm Waller.

After the final match of the one-day triangular series, the Zimbabwe XI will host Australia A in a two-day warm-up match at Kwekwe Sports Club, beginning on the 11th of July.

1. Vusimuzi Sibanda will captain the team. The rest of the players are;

5. Kyle Jarvis;

6. Gregory Lamb;

7. Shingirai Masakadza;

8. Tinotenda Mawoyo;

9. Natsai Mushangwe;

10. Forster Mutizwa;

11. Njabulo Ncube;

12. Tinashe Panyangara; and

13. Malcolm Waller.

After the warm-up match, the hosts will play Australia A in two four-day matches in Harare, beginning on the 15th and the 21st of July, 2011. The national selectors will announce the Zimbabwe XI squad for these matches later.
