The film entitled City of Dreams is written by Mark Mandishora and portrays the typical life of modern day youths who try by hook and crook to achieve their goals and fulfil their dreams.
The film was produced by Africa Union Entertainment in collaboration with Patzel Motion
Pictures, Mighty Movies and MTM Global. The soundtrack was done by Buffalo Souljah and the cast includes Evangelista Mwatse, Anthony Tongani, Admire Maramba, Revlino Gwanzura, Arnold Gara, Kim Karol Zambuko, Tonderai Hakuna, and Melissa Mandisoul among others.
Shot in Harare, the film revolves around youths who aspire to be musicians. Two young brothers frantically try to enter the urban grooves without success and decide to switch to singing gospel music. Friends, mainly wealthy dealers, finance their gospel project in a film that deals with crime, murder, violence, love and traditional culture.
