Dynamos battles to shed "bad boy" image tag

Stunned by the level of indiscipline in their camp, Dynamos have introduced a new code of conduct that will see players who misbehave having money deducted from their salaries.

Coach Lloyd Mutasa willo monitor the behaviour of players during training. He said the code was meant to ensure discipline in the team after most of their players found themselves suspended by match officials.

"Too many players have been suspended after being red-carded by officials due to indiscipline and we are trying to stop this," said Mutasa. Denver Mukamba, one of Dynamos star players, was given a red card during the league match against Chicken Inn in Bulawayo last week and will miss today's clash against rivals CAPS United.

It’s not the first time Mukamba has been suspended this season. He was banned for four matches after being given a red card during the Zimbabwe Under-23 match against Botswana.

Archieford Gutu was also suspended after being given a red card during the African Champions League, while striker Martin Vengesayi was suspended after receiving a yellow card during the Harare derby against CAPS United a month ago. He returns to action this afternoon after serving his suspension.
