This will mark Macheso’s inaugural performance under the new administration of Josphat Rushinga who recently took over the reigns from Obey “Big Fish” Hove’s G3 Big Fun Entertainment.

Macheso, who is no stranger to the leisure centre, will reunite with his long time fans to heat up the winter season. The joint’s spokesperson, Clayton Masekesa, said, “Chapter One is now a big brand in the entertainment industry in the country. We want to maintain our good standards in offering top flight entertainment.

“Macheso is a crowd puller and we are proud to be associated with a musician of such calibre. We are not going to end there. We have more big shows lined up.”

The Ochestra Mberikwazvo frontman will be expected to belt out some of his all time hits including the song of the moment Tafadzwa Nyarara “Don’t worry Tafadzwa”.

Before the exceptional bass guitarist takes to the stage, son of the late Dendera luminary Naison “Dr Nero” Chimbetu, Tryson will serenade the crowd.

Timba as he is widely known in musical circles has been getting a glimpse of the limelight under the mentorship of Macheso.

The pair have been on a whirlwind tourage with the Batswana diva Slizer backed by Cheso Power Promotions during the past week.

Ochestra Mberikwazvo and Marxist Brothers will definitely deliver the mother of all shows to spice up the winter season come next Friday.
