Mine Entra: busiest for years

This year’s Mine Entra, a specialised international exhibition for the Mining, Engineering and Transport sectors, has received tremendous response and is set to be one of the biggest in recent years.

The annual premier mining, engineering and transport showcase, to open here on July 20, will run under the theme “Exploring business synergies in mining, engineering and transport”

“This year’s Mine Entra is set to be one of the busiest in recent years. We have received overwhelming response from the players in the three sectors. We are now almost fully booked,” said Daniel Chigaru, the general manager of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) – organisers of the event.

Chigaru said exhibitors at this year’s Mine Entra will have a rare opportunity of meeting and interacting with influential buyers in the three sectors.

“Zimbabwe’s Mine Entra 2011 is an essential regional showcase for any firm involved in the extraction of raw minerals, the design of production equipment and processes or the transportation of products and personnel. This year we have invited stakeholders in these critical sectors to attend the exhibition with the hope that exhibitors are going to clinch business deals with them,” he said.

This year’s event will run concurrently with an industry–driven conference, focusing on optimising synergies and exchanging ideas to harness mineral resources for the benefit of the economy.
