Tshuma during his Drive Time live radio show swore on the local airwaves that he wouldl never play music of talented urban grooves artiste Trevor Dongo.
The former cross-border dealer accused the young talented urban groover of sending him a defamatory e-mail.
Said Tshuma, “I wonder if some people ever think before they act,” before promising to clarify his statement after a song that was playing in the background.
“I have received an insulting e-mail from Trevor. I just wonder whether he took his time to think before sending the e-mail. But what I want to declare today is that as long as I am still at Power FM, I will never play any of Trevor’s songs,” he “threatened” without disclosing the contents of the e-mail much to the disbelief of many listeners.
His remarks raised a lot of dust from listeners who wondered how Tshuma could make such unilateral decisions live on air without the consent of his bosses.
Dongo was surprised when Showbiz on Sunday questioned him, and denied ever sending any e-mail to Tshuma.
“I don’t do e-mails. I communicate with Djs in person. I will get hold of Tshuma right now,” said Dongo. He later revealed that Tshuma told him the whole announcement was hoax to stir public debate.
