The play was launched in Hillbrow and continues to be played around Joburg.

The play mainly focuses on tribalism which is threatening unity amongst Zimbabweans today perpetrated by Zanu-PF with the aide of State securities like police and soldiers. It profoundly highlights how the Zim government is determined on running the country on 'divide and rule' philosophy.

The play constitutes of four scenes as it also briskly shifts to political issues which have continuously ruined the country in the last three decades. It also touches on corruption and illiteracy amongst the old generation who continue to sink deeper into the dark pit as they fail to understand modern life which demands high technological skills.

Government's ignorance on these communities is also witnessed as they only come to these communal based areas for votes only.

The group consists of 17 members, 12 men and 5 women and it was launched last year in Joburg.

Three months ago, they also launched a Shona/Ndebele stage play called 'inkulu lendaba' which was widely welcome in the sprawling suburbs of Joburg, Hillbrow, Yeoville, CBD and Berea.

The group which was established in 2006 also does Poetry, dancing and music. In South Africa the group is prominently known for their hit drama 'Double Standards' which is currently playing in various theatres throughout the country. The drama portrays Zimbabwean events from 1980 to present.
