Environment Africa’s CEO, Charlene Hewat, has been on a gruelling speaking tour to New Zealand and Australia in July and August to raise awareness and funding for Zimbabwe.

Hewat believes that the international community is unaware of the amazing work being carried out by local organisations and wanted to share the vision, the successes and highlight the challenges of projects and programmes.

She received a warm welcome in both countries and conducted numerous public speaking and media engagements, including a one hour interview with Margaret Stuart on her international radio show ‘Mangotiger – Ordinary People doing Extraordinary Things’ hosted through PWRN, Positive World Radio Network at Universal in Los Angeles.

The Australian media have been very supportive in following the tour and promoting the plight of the endangered Rhino. Go to www.environmentafrica.org to listen to links for radio interviews.
