Meanwhile, Four NUST activists appeared today the 10th August before a Bulawayo Magistrate. The four, David Mushanawani, Beven Nyamande, Ernest Makoni and Duncan Mombeshora are facing charges of participating in an illegal gathering with the intentions of causing public violence following a demonstration against high tuition fees.
Trial date for these four activists has been postponed to the 6th of September, because there was no state witnesses.
The Students Solidarity Trust continues to advocate for the swift delivery of justice. Weak state cases have resulted in students being disturbed in their studies due to the sluggish nature in which the state is approaching the cases.
