Zanu women abuse shoppers

A group of Zanu (PF) women insulted late night shoppers at a local supermarket on Friday evening calling them Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s puppets.

The visibly drunk women, numbering about 20, were clad in Zanu (PF) regalia and flanked by men who urged them on. The apparent leader of the gang demanded to see the Spar Manager before verbally abusing him in front of her friends.

The rest of the women were drinking beer and demanding free food from the counter assistants. They sang offensive songs about Tsvangirai and the Minister of Finance Tendai Biti.

“Tsvangirai imboko isingafi yakatonga Zimbabwe,” (Tsvangirai will never rule this country) they sang with raised fists. Some shoppers reported the matter to the police who refused to act.
