ZIMRA donation

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has donated a borehole and a 5000-litre tank to Manhinga Village and Children’s home.

The borehole and the tank were handed over to the Manhinga Village management at a colourful ceremony at the premises situated about 40km north of Rusape.

Handing over the borehole and the tank, the acting director of legal and corporate services, Stembile Chakunda, said: “Apart from collecting revenue, ZIMRA has a special responsibility to assist the needy. It is against this background that we are gathered today to see our continuous helping hand to communities through social responsibility initiatives.”

Chakunda said the borehole was drilled using the funds raised from last year’s ZIMRA Charity Ball at a hotel in Harare.
