Currently riding high on the crest of a wave of a success with their second international album, African Spirit, the sibling duo’s hit, 7 Wonders , faces stiff competition in the Record of the Year category from heavyweights 2Face Idibia from Nigeria, Senegalese rap pioneer Awadi and South African lyricist Morale.
“What makes me and my brother (Kazz) most proud is that our nominated song (7 Wonders) is an ode to a country which we so much love, our Zimbabwe,” said Seiraj “BKay” Khan.

Also nominated for the Maomas are fellow Zimbabweans, Tinashé, Shingayi Shonhiwa, Audius, Winky D and Jah Seed.
Zimbabwe-born, London-bred Indie Pop sensation, Tinashé will make do with facing fellow compatriot Shonhiwa of the group Noisettes in a mouth-watering Diaspora song of the Year category. He also has the opportunity of a second bite of the cherry with through a nomination in the Alternative Song of the Year category with Zambezi.
