Cease Fire a success: Mpostori

Mutare-based artiste, Juicer Mpostori, said he is pleased with the success of his latest album Cease Fire: Zvinhu Zvacho.

The album, which is his second, has created waves on the local entertainment scene. The name Juicer is fast gaining a reputation and growing in stature in local music circles.

The 10-track album features tracks such as Amai, Kudanana Newe and Zvaramba. The music videos have also been hailed as a success.

"I am encouraged by the support that I continue receiving from my fans and music promoters alike across the country. I look forward to doing even better and delivering on their expectations. The point is to put my shoulder to the wheel and keep at it so I that accrue the crucial and much-needed experience," said Juicer Mpostori.

Born Wiriranai Chakoroma-Maenda, the singer first made it onto the music scene with Unondiona Sei? in 2008. He followed it with the release of his debut album, Maitiro Angu.

In December 2010 he had the privilege of sharing the stage with the legendary music senior superstar Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi and Alick Macheso at Chapter One Leisure Centre in Mutare.
