It is something that one would not expect to check, and so could easily be caught out in the same situation. I am sure any one visiting Zimbabwe would be very grateful to her for her advice. It is really shocking that for a country struggling to resurrect itself to be part of the wider community; it should still have such corrupt and unwelcoming officials at their 'front door'.
They say first impressions count, but so do last impressions. I am sure that lady will never be visiting Zimbabwe again. – PW, UK
