Some of the artistes expected to take part include Kudzai Sevenzo, Dudu Manhenga and Diana Samkange.
Other notable jazz musicians to showcase their talents are Jean Masters, Selmor Mtukudzi and Rute Mbangwa.
In an interview with Showbiz Hozheri said: “The festival is meant to showcase the ingenuity among female artistes who continue to remain in the background, despite their immense talent.
“It will be a unique package designed for our jazz sisters who will showcase their talent to jazz lovers from Harare and its environs. We have realized that the women have been supportive of their male colleagues in the music sector, this time around the ladies will hold their own,” said Hozheri.
Dudu was in Italy last month and remains a force to reckon with in the entertainment sector. Next week, she will join Mozambique's Marabenta jazz and South Africa’s Judith Sephuma for joint performances at the month-long Arts Alive festival in Johannesburg.
