Alois Mabhunu was sentenced to 10 days in detention after he was convicted by an internal police court for using the president’s toilet. Mabhunu, who has been described as an avid Zanu (PF) supporter, believes that Chihuri will reverse the judgment that he not be allowed to wear plain clothes on duty.
Efforts to get a comment from the police were, however senior police spokesperson Wyne Bvudzijena has said before that the matter is internal and not for him to comment.
