Vavavum leaves legacy in Swaziland

Zimbabwe’s renowned, celebrated artist, Pedzisayi Sithole, last week hosted a successful Vavavum Siya Tour'a festival in Mbabane Swaziland over the weekend.

Speaking to The Zimbabwean this week, Sithole highlighted the success

of the festival which brought together Africa's best arts groups.

“We want to maintain unity and good working relations amongst arts groups in Southern Africa. I have worked with some of these groups previously and hope the legacy we coined will be eternal,” he said.

Groups which performed in this festival include Zimbabwe’s award winning Inkululeko Yabatsha School of Arts (IYASA) and Edgar Langevelt, South Africa’s Markety Theatre, Doony Ngwenyama and Swazi top arts group.
