Vuma, who was born in Bulawayo but is now based in the United Kingdom,
will be a Zimbabwean representative at the prestigious Miss Intercontinental Beauty pageant to be held in Spain on October 7, 2011.
In an interview with Showbiz last week, a spokesperson from Face of Zimbabwe said: "We are delighted that the model will have a chance to represent Zimbabwe. Face of Zimbabwe is about creating a platform for Zimbabweans all over the world to show the best of their country through beauty."
She is the current Miss May in the Face of Zimbabwe contest.
"She is currently taking grooming lessons from Hilda Mulenga who was responsible for the success of Vanessa Sibanda," said the spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Vuma's parents are appealing for sponsorship to assist their daughter with some of her personal expenses before and during the pageant.
