Mtukudzi will set the ball rolling at Mutare Polytechnic College on October 22 whilst the Charambas are scheduled to deliver a spirited performance at Sakubva Beithall on November 4, this year.

This comes in the wake of self-proclaimed King of Sungura, Alick “Extrabasso” Macheso’s date at his traditional venue –Chapter One Leisure Centre –last Friday.

The Blacks Spirits front man will be backed by Bruce Mpofu and Munya Mataruse alongside Mutare’s golden boy Juicer Mpostori as the supporting act.

According to Proma Events official, Blessing Jeke, the katekwe dance exponent will appear for a cocktail party before Tuku’s performance.

“We are promising fans fireworks. Unlike his previous shows, Tuku will be playing for five hours. He will play from 8pm to 12pm before taking a break. He will wrap up his performance after the break.”
