Black Rhinos set for Premier League return

Army side Black Rhinos could bounce back into the elite Premier League as the Division One title race heads for an exciting finish.

Black Rhinos are placed second on the Division One league table behind Harare City Council.

At the weekend, Black Rhinos thrashed fellow northern region division one side Cossy Rules 5-0 to make a bold statement of intent as the race reaches boiling point. Four teams will be relegated from the premier league while the other four will be promoted from the division one teams.

Harare City Council are the favourites to clinch the Northern Region Division One ticket. Coached by Bigboy Mawiwi, Harare got a crucial away victory on Saturday in Kariba where they dismissed Partson Ndabambi's ZPC Kariba 2-1 at Chaminuka.

They are now two points clear of second-placed Black Rhinos with one game remaining against Eiffel Flats at Dzivarasekwa this weekend.
