FC Platinum are meeting Shabanie Mine today without their key players Norman Togara, Charles Sibanda, goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube and captain Zephaniah Ngodzo who are on suspension and coach Rahman Gumbo knows a defeat is possible should they not tighten their belts.

Dynamos is currently riding on a wave of success having amassed 15 points in their last six games while FC Platinum has a paltry nine points from the same number of games.

Dynamos know today’s tie against Hwange is tricky because Hwange have lost only twice at home for the whole season – against Highlanders and FC Platinum. FC Platinum lead the log with 49 points while Dynamos are close runners-up with 48 points.

“We are meeting Hwange with one thing in mind, and that is to win the match. This is one match we can no afford to lose if we are to win the league,” said Dynamos goalkeeper Washington Arubi.
