Nyandoro said people should appreciate that the vehicle was given to him by a well-wisher, as his Toyota Corolla Sedan had developed a technical fault.
“For the record I would like to make it clear to the public that the vehicle will be returned to its owner when the council buys me an official mayoral vehicle. My personal vehicle developed a fault on my way to the 2011 Trade Fair in Bulawayo. I was given the Toyota Vigo by a friend,” said Nyandoro.
He said the corruption allegations were hatched by misinformed and jealous people who wanted to tarnish his image.
