He was picked up at his workshop in Vhengere and taken to Three Brigade in Tsanzaguru. Reasons for the abduction are still unknown but he is still detained at the army barracks. A report has been made at Rusape police station.

MDC official kidnapped in Rusape
Teddy Chipere the MDC Manicaland provincial Secretary for Mines and Natural Resources was kidnapped at gunpoint today at 11AM by a group of soldiers who were driving an army truck.
