Mutasa's close friend Masimba Dinyero told The Zimbabwean on Friday, Mutasa was in Swaziland where he is set to sign a contract with Matsapha Prisons.

"I can confirm that Mutasa is in Swaziland right now. He flew there on Tuesday for contract talks with that club. He was approached after they won the league title in that country.

They will be playing in the African Champions League next year and feel that they need an experienced hand in the African campaign. And they approached Mutasa to help them,” said Dinyero, who was one of his assistants before he left Dynamos.

Efforts to get hold of Mutasa were fruitless but sources said he had already signed the contract and was expected back home next week as he prepares for life in Swaziland.

"He should be coming back next week to sort out his things before he goes back to Swaziland to start preparations with the team. He is happy with the contract and he did not have any problem because he joined a prison team and he is also a prison officer here in Zimbabwe.

There was no problem because the two prisons communicated at their level and agreed that he coaches the team,” said the source.

Mutasa – a Dynamos football legend played in the African Champions league and was part of the Dynamos squad that lost out in controversial circumstances against Asec Mimosas in Ivory Coast.
