Pay back time for Dynamos

It’s pay back time for Dynamos as they visit Masvingo United for a cagey Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie at Mucheke tadium this afternoon.

Masvingo United, now under the guidance of former Dynamos assistant coach Ralph Kawondera, who joined last week, will be seeking to end the Harare giant's unbeaten run since Calisto Pasuwa took over in July.

Pasuwa replaced Lloyd Mutasa and his assistant Kawondera after they were hounded out of the club by the executive after a run of poor results. Kawondera now seeks to inflict defeat on the team that hounded him from his job.

"It's a big match for us. Dynamos are a big institution with a strong support base but the trick is to silence their supporters with an early goal. Once you silence their supporters that will be the end," said Kawondera.

He added: "We go into this match as underdogs so we don't have any pressure. I don't want to talk about what happened in the past. They had their reasons for terminating our contracts. I am not worried about that. I am confident we will give them a good game."

Dynamos have gone for five games without a defeat since Pasuwa took over and a defeat at the hands of Masvingo this afternoon will end their winning streak.
