The rally follows a recent cancellation of the Premier’s visit to this Mashonaland East Provincial Capital a fortnight ago, as Zanu (PF) intended to stage demonstrations to embarrass him.
“Yes, President Morgan Tsvangirai will address a provincial rally in the town on Sunday. It is one of those routine party rallies at which Tsvangirai and other top party officials will update supporters about current political affairs,” said the Marondera Central MDC-T Chairperson, Chengetai Murova.
