Buffaloes FC upbeat

Buffaloes FC who were recently promoted back into the PSL league after a decade, have vowed to do wonders in the top flight action.

The Watungwa Watungwa boys secured a clean ticket into the league after coming tops in the Eastern Division One. The team sealed its 24 game unbeaten run by dismissing Renco Mine 2-0 at Sakubva Stadium.

In an interview, Buffaloes coach Shadreck Magurasave said the team would not be the bridesmaid of PSL next season.

“We are at the moment beefing up our squad. I can reveal that there are about four or five big names in the current league who have shown interest in joining us though I cannot announce their names at this stage,” said the soft-spoken coach.

“We want our presence felt in the league,” he added. Football enthusiasts last experienced PSL in 2008 before the relegation of Highway FC who had failed to make a positive dance in the league.

The promotion of Buffaloes will go a long way in reconnecting the fans with the supreme football league and also get a chance to watch favourite teams like Dynamos, Caps United, Highlanders and Motor action among others from their backyards.
