
The DVD features hit song ‘Umfaz’olivila’ (Lazy Wife) which is receiving lots of air play here and in South Africa. The song encourages young men to be cautious when getting married as it is life time commitment. He believes his songs play a big role in uniting and teaching societies a better way of life.
“I am committed to moulding a better society through my music. I am convinced that if my music receives air play, the government won’t have a problem setting up youth educational initiatives as I already address those issues through my music,” he said.
Other songs featured include: ‘Izalizelwe, Sithandazile, Wawusithanda Sibanengi, Huphekile No.1, Osiphatheleni, Hluphekile No.2 and Sekuselekancane.
To date, Chauke has five albums to his name, they include Isiphiwo Sami (2004), Empilweni (2005), and Omkhwanazi (2010).
He has also backed one of the finest Rhumba sons of Zimbabwe, the late ‘Ndux Malax’. He played the lead guitar in Ndux’s hit songs ‘ukhomb’utsotsi and Nans’isayoni sisiz’umuntu’.
