According to Arnold Chapanduka of SCC, the three ICT innovations: Telecentre, TN cash card payment system and Dairy Soft, a computerised accounting package for small scale diaries, will be launched at Nharira Dairy Cooperative in Chikomba district on Friday November 18.
Chapanduka said the purpose of the occasion was to exhibit the roll that ICT can play in rural development.
"We are also going to share from experience the importance of strategic alliances amongst NGOs the private sector and the government,” he said.
The theme of the launch is: The role of ICT in facilitating rural development.
