Bimha said the policy would create jobs and add value to products produced within Zimbabwe. He said his ministry was impressed by the achievements made by villagers at Nharira dairy cooperative who were now creating cheese and yoghurt from the milk produced for resale to the local community.
“You rural villagers of Nharira have set a good example of what the government has been calling for, you have now become true industrialists,” Bimha said.
Through the proposed policy, Bimha said the government had plans for the mining sector to cut and polish their own diamonds.
