The guest of Honour at the event is the Provincial Education Director of Harare, E.C Mazula. Schools competing for the provincial title that will take the winner to Bulawayo on November 19 for the National finals, include Chembira Primary School, Tomlison Depot Primary School and Shingai Primary School, among others.
Chembira Primary School from Highglen District is the current National winner of the Jikinya Traditional Dance Festival that was held in 2010. This year’s set piece is Aamabhiza and dancers can choose another piece to accompany it. For more information contact Sylvia Muwoni on 0773506189.
