Speaking at a rally held at Mushagashe training centre on Sunday, Masvingo North member of the house of assembly Stan Mudenge said who supported the MDC should not receive farm inputs because they were detractors of the land redistribution exercise.
“All MDC sympathisers should not benefit from the farm inputs distribution scheme because they opposed to the land reform programme. It is President Mugabe who sourced the inputs,” said Mudenge.
He openly declared his hatred for the MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai who he described as a puppet for those advocating regime changes.
“All MDC supporters who are here should immediately adopt a new line of thinking, otherwise you will be left out in the cold,” Mudenge threatened.
Zanu (PF) youths and war veterans reportedly force marched villagers to the rally and various church denominations had to cancel their prayer meetings to attend. It is understood tractors were used to ferry villagers and school pupils to the gathering.
