The High court continues to drag its feet in granting the vibrant MDC Youth Assembly chairperson bail. This week his second application for bail was denied at the High Court today by Justice Maria Zimba Dube.

His brother Paul Madzore said this week: “I’m sure today goes down in history’s book as a sad day for a lot of us.

Once again, friends, a dark cloud has fallen on us as a family. It’s a difficult time for us, particularly his wife who has been very supportive through and through. We appeal to all friends and relatives to keep praying that the Lord continues to give him and others strength that they need so much at this time”.

Madzore is facing charges of murdering a police officer in Glen View in May. 27 other MDC activists are facing similar charges. Eight of them including Madzore are still in remand prison while the others have been granted bail.
