In a statement, the company's publisher said: "iZimbabwe.co.zw is a world class online portal containing up to the minute information about entertainment, property, jobs, accommodation and news specifically relevant to people across Zimbabwe".
He said more information about the new facility could be found in a press document:
This is probably the first such facility in the country, coming at a time when Zimbabwe's Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Nelson Chamisa, has regularly said the country's ICT is lagging behind the advanced world.
He says more cash is needed by his ministry to try and keep pace with the fast developing developed world.
Chamisa is Zimbabwe's first minister dealing with ICT since Independence in 1980.
