“Yes, everybody is excited to witness the near completion of the water project,” said the town mayor Farai Nyandoro.
He added that although the pipe-line had reached town, there were some grey areas that needed attention.
“The water-project will be commissioned by March next year according to the schedule. The water treatment plant needs to be expanded in order to fully get on top of the current water challenges,” he said.
Residents from across the political divide commended Minister of Finance Tendai Biti and the MDC city fathers for allocating funds to the completion of the project.
