The commission led by F.S Mbetsa of the office of Mutare Provincial Administrator, has not yet released its findings.
Deputy Local government minister Sessisl Zvidzai said the composition of the team was controversial.
Tobaiwa said the results of the investigation should be released immediately.
“The people who came to conduct the so called audit are familiar to us all. We know them personally that they are partisan despite being civil servants. When I heard they were coming I never panicked because my name is clean,” Tobaiwa said.
