Government in $34 mln budget surplus

Harare-Total revenue in 2011 was at $2.921 mln and total expenditure was at $2.89 mln, which resulted in a surplus of $30.4 mln. The original budget had projected revenues of $2.74 mln, which was later revised to $2.9 mln. Of the revenue, non-tax revenue contributed $259.9 mln.

CAAZ introduces Development Fund levy
