Industrial action has yielded nothing since1986. The most effective strike in the past was by the nurses. However, it cost them their jobs. Today, the issue of ghost workers and being silent, union leadership deficit, the ‘Big man syndrome’ and fear will pose challenges to civil servants. Please wake up and smell the coffee.
